It’s Freebie Friday on the SavingStar App. So make sure you get your freebie of the week.

This week, for Freebie Friday you can get a 6oz. can of Hunt’s Tomato Paste for FREE.

It expires on 6/1/2014 so you have to buy it by Sunday to get the freebie. – Remember you still have to pay for it in the store, but when you scan a linked loyalty reward card at checkout, you will get a credit in your SavingStar account for the price of the tomato paste.

The SavingStar App links to your grocery store loyalty rewards cards so you can save money without having to clip or print coupons. It will work at Shaw’s even though they don’t use a loyalty card anymore, you just have to request one from Shaw’s if you don’t still have an old one. You also have to tell them to scan the card anyway because they will tell you that they don’t use the loyalty reward card in the store anymore.

It will also work at a long list of other stores which you can read about on the SavingStar Website. It will not work at Market Basket because they don’t have any kind of loyalty reward card.
