Bar Keepers Friend – I Use That S**t on Everything
Anyone get my pun? Anyone? Anyone? Sorry, I couldn’t get the Franks Red Hot commercial out of my head for some reason. This post has absolutely nothing to do with Franks Red Hot, it’s all about Bar Keepers Friend. If you’ve never used it, I highly recommend it if you have a stainless steel sink, stainless steel pots and pans, or Fiestaware dishes. See? I really do use it on everything. It’s an amazing cleaner and works great to get your stainless cookware or sink back to looking clean and shiny.
If you’ve ever boiled chicken you know your pot can be tough to clean, but if you make a paste with Bar Keepers Friend it comes off pretty easily. Even just soaking a pot in water usually doesn’t help, so this is a must have cleaning product!
Do you own Fiestaware and want to know if there is a good way to take all of the marks off of your Fiestaware plates? Bar Keepers Friend is amazing at removing all of the scratches on your Fiestaware. Granted it takes a little bit of scrubbing, but there is no way you could do that with just dish soap and water.
So why do I bring up Bar Keepers Friend now? Because there is a coupon of course! Go to coupons.com (affiliate link) and print off the $.50 off one can of Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser. If you find it in Shaws or Stop and Shop you can double the coupon for $1 off!
Happy Cleaning!
It works on all those Fiestaware scratches? Really?! If this is true, I am so glad I clicked through to your (new..congrats!) site. I’m getting ready to sell all my Fiestaware but the scratches were driving me crazy…who wants to buy that! I’m trying it! If it works, I might become your biggest fan!! 😉
Thanks for the question, it definitely works on cleaning up the scratches on your Fiestaware plates. I took a before and after picture of the same plate so you can see the difference. The picture isn’t the greatest quality, but you should be able to get the idea of the before and after.
